About Eva

Hi I'm Eva

I was born and raised in Madrid, Spain. In 2003, I moved to the United States after meeting the person who would become my husband, beginning a new chapter far away from everything I had known.

While it was an exciting and meaningful transition, it was also one of the greatest challenges of my life. At the time, I didn’t realize how deeply that change was affecting my nervous system and my health.

Over the years, I experienced infertility, anxiety, postpartum depression, migraines, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, and eventually was diagnosed with Hashimoto's. Like so many women, I spent years searching for answers, hoping to understand why I no longer felt like myself.

Appointment after appointment, I often left with another diagnosis, another test, or another prescription, but I still felt something was missing. I wasn't simply looking for temporary relief—I wanted to understand why my body was struggling and what I could do to better support it.

That search changed the course of my life.

Through that journey, I came to understand that my body had a story to tell—a story shaped by my life experiences, stress, and the challenges I had carried along the way.

As I learned more, everything began to make sense. I realized that our health is shaped by much more than physical symptoms. Our thoughts, emotions, daily habits, relationships, and the experiences we carry throughout life—both big and small—can influence our nervous system. At the same time, what's happening in our bodies can affect how we think, feel, and respond to the world around us.

Everything is connected.

My own healing journey sparked a deep curiosity about the mind-body connection. I immersed myself in the study of holistic health, pursuing advanced training, taking countless classes, and reading everything I could to better understand how the body works and what truly supports healing. I applied what I learned not only to my own life, but also to my family, witnessing firsthand the remarkable changes that can happen when the body is given the right support.

Today, I am the founder of Eva de Coro Mind–Body Health (formerly Sycamore Therapeutic Massage), where I bring together my training and experience to support women and children in caring for their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Through hands-on therapies and Health Coaching, I help women reconnect with their bodies, help restore balance, reduce pain, and create lasting changes that nurture their health and well-being.

Caring for children has also become one of the most meaningful parts of my work. I believe many of the physical, emotional, and nervous system challenges we see in adulthood have their roots early in life. Supporting children during those early years gives us an opportunity to encourage healthy development and help them build a stronger foundation for the future.

I don't believe health is about finding one quick fix.

I believe it's about understanding your body, learning to listen to it, and recognizing that small, consistent changes can create meaningful transformation over time.

One of the greatest gifts my own journey gave me was realizing that I wasn't powerless—and neither are you.

You don't have to stay stuck in survival mode.

My hope is to help women better understand the connection between the mind, the body, and the nervous system so they can become active participants in their own health. My intention is always the same: to help you feel more connected to your body, more confident in your health, and more hopeful about what's possible.

Because I truly believe the body has an incredible capacity to adapt, heal, and thrive when it's given the right support.

I'd be honored to be part of your journey.
